Colin Mason is a highly respected and sought after, Surrey based wedding photographer. His creative wedding photography creates fashionable photographs that tell the tale of your wedding day. With over 20 years of experience in photography he will capture those special moments and small details with a modern feel, producing romantic as well as fun photographs for your wedding book
His style of wedding photography helps to create natural looking photographs by having fun with the Bride and Groom. For the Bride and Groom photographs Colin will give them some direction and then see what develops naturally, which produces natural looking pictures. The rest of the time Colin will be in the background taking informal photographs without the subjects even knowing they are being photographed.
Brides are always commenting on how Colin’s professionalism and persona makes them feel more at ease when preparing for their wedding. Colin feels that it’s important to make the bride feel relaxed during the day because this will ultimately show in the photographs.
Most of Colin's work comes from recommendations from previous weddings which shows how previous clients have been satisfied with his work.
If there is a chance of rain on the wedding day Colin will set up professional studio lights for internal group photographs in the wedding venue. This produces better quality group photographs than a flash on top of the camera (Subject to permission from the venue and room).
Once the booking has been made Colin offers a pre-wedding meeting at the venue a few weeks before the wedding date*. During this meeting you can view the venue together to discuss locations for photographs. Colin will also see your itinerary for the day and answer any last minute questions you may have. (*Pre-wedding meetings are Monday- Thursdays only due to wedding commitments at weekends.)
The proof wedding photographs are presented usually within 2-3 weeks in the format of 6x4 inch prints. An online gallery will also be available for family and friend to view and order prints. There will be a password added for your privacy.
Every wedding booked will receive the amazing GraphiStudio Story Book. The book will contain a minimum of 40 pages which will hold approximately 65 photographs. There is a choice of covers from a photograph set in acrylic to leather or a mix of both. There is an additional charge for the leather covers.
The Starter Wedding Photography Package includes Colin’s attendance from the wedding ceremony up until the start of your wedding breakfast. Colin will take photographs throughout the day including photographs of:
Bride’s arrival in car
The Wedding Ceremony
Bride and Groom Photographs
Group photographs
Photographs at reception venue
Photographs with the Wedding Cake
Any other photographs you would like to request
You then have the optional photography coverage of:
* The Bride's party preparing on the morning of the wedding. This will include informal and formal photographs before the Bride departs for the wedding.
* Photography coverage later Into the evening covering speeches, first few dances and lots more informal photographs of the guests mingling.
* A second Professional Wedding Photographer appointed by Colin is also an option for extra coverage.
